These gifts can help save thousands of lives. How? Each year, the American Red Cross teaches lifesaving skills to nearly 12 million people. But we can’t do it alone. Reaching this many people is only possible through the help of people like you. People who care about the safety and lives of others, and are willing to devote a little bit of their time to help us make the world a safer place.

·         Make a difference in others’ lives as well as your own.

·         Help others learn to save lives.

·         Gain valuable teaching experience—and receive great training.

·         Teach a variety of courses including first aid, CPR/AED, Lifeguarding, Learn-to-Swim, HIV/AIDS prevention, and more!

·         Train others in your company, organization or community.

Text Box: Contact us today at (260) 356-2910 to find out more about becoming a volunteer            Red Cross instructor.

We’re looking for smart, motivated people who truly want to make a difference. An American Red Cross instructor is a member of a select group of trained and authorized individuals, who reflects the standards and ideals of the American Red Cross.

·         Are you enthusiastic about your role in helping people?

·         Are you willing to develop a full understanding of subject matter and stay abreast of new developments?

We’ll help you build and refine all the skills you need. Work with America’s most trusted health and safety training provider and show your community that you care.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

A new fiscal year begins this month and we wanted you to know that you will see a new return mailing address on some of the mail we will be sending you.

Beginning in August, we will use a gift processing center with an Indianapolis post office box address.

Please know that, as always, the gift you make to the Huntington Chapter, is a gift for our chapter; the funds will be used right here in our community, providing relief to victims of disaster and helping people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.

A centralized processing center is an efficient, effective way to process gifts in a timely manner, allowing us to take advantage of advanced software and technological expertise, and most importantly, enabling our staff and volunteers to focus more time on meeting local humanitarian needs.

Thank you for your support of the Huntington County Chapter. We strive to be good stewards of the gifts we receive; we see this is a positive change and hope you do, too. Please let me know if you have any questions. You can reach me at (260-356-2910).

Respectively,

Mike Rohler

Executive Director

A disaster could happen to you in the blink of an eye...
                      Are you Red Cross Ready?

The American Red Cross empowers ordinary people to perform extraordinary acts in emergency situations. We train. We mobilize. We connect donors and volunteers to those in urgent need of a helping hand. Whether it is a hurricane or a heart attack; a call for blood or a call for help, the American Red Cross is there. Last year in our community, because of people like you we were able to...assist over 300 families and service members in this community. Together, we can transform a life in crisis into a life of hope.
